A must-have book that I like to read every year before the new Church year and school year covering everything from family life, building an atmosphere & life of faith, praying as a family, celebrating the feasts, fasting, the Sacraments as a family and much more.  Inspirational, practical, & very hands-on for parents with children of all ages!

We are an Orthodox Christian homeschooling family of five working alongside each other in this new venture.  We have homeschooled our three children (ages 10 - 13) their whole lives.  Dad also works outside the home as an Aquatic Scientist and Mom is a certified secondary English teacher who enjoys teaching her own kids best.  Through the strength and grace of God we seek to follow St. Paul's exhortation to bring children up in the training (paideia) and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4) by illuminating and edifying the whole student, mind, body and spirit. 

It is the goal of Paidea Classics to provide materials helpful to educators in their efforts through the republication of high quality, spiritually edifying literature from years past as well as creating and offering books, resources and curricula for their educational endeavors.
